 Questions -

Q.What is Engine immobilizer or Digital Immobilizer?
- It ensures that it starts using genuine Key only.
Q.What is an anti roll bar ?
-Anti roll bar or sway bar is a part of an automobile suspension which connects opposite wheels together through short lever arms linked by a torsion spring. Anti roll bar increases the suspension's roll stiffness or its resistance to roll in turns, independent of its spring rate in the vertical direction.
Q.What is central locking system?
-A locking system in a motor vehicle that enables the locks of all doors to be operated simultaneously by a single person.
Q.what is Child Lock?
-Child safety locks are built into the doors of most cars to prevent rear seat passengers from opening the doors both during transit. It automatically lock all doors when car starts moving.

Q.what is Park Distance Control?
-With Park Distance Control, entering or leaving the tightest parking space becomes much easier. An acoustic warning signal lets you know how close you are to the car or object behind you.Ultrasound sensors integrated into the bumper at the rear of your BMW measure the distance to the nearest large object behind the vehicle. As you reverse closer, the frequency of the warning tone increases. When you're just 30 cm from the car or other obstacle, an unbroken warning tone sounds, as a signal to brake.
Depending on the model and equipment of your BMW, the acoustic signal is accompanied by a visual representation on the control display , so you can both see and hear where obstacles are each time you enter or leave a parking space.
Q.what are the side impact beams or Side Impact Protection?
-a impact beam is a series of steel beams that runs throughout the sides of your car. in the event of a crash it will add to the protection of passengers.

Q.What is Dynamic control System(DCS)?
- Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) adds to safety by facilitating vehicle control even in adverse driving conditions or on tough surfaces.Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) is the nucleus of the chassis control systems in BMW vehicles. It ensures the highest possible levels of stability when driving, and it maximizes traction of all wheels when setting off or accelerating. It is able to detect the first signs of oversteering.
VIDEO will explai it easily (video from BMW website)

Q.What is Antilock Breaking System(ABS)?
-The availability of ABS(Antilock Breaking System) makes the car more safer which helps in prevention of wheel locking in case of sudden and abrupt braking.

Q.what is Corner Breaking System(CBS)
-For greater safety when braking on curves - Cornering Brake Control stabilises your BMW by applying braking pressure asymmetrically despite physically difficult conditions (e.g. the car swerving towards the inside of the bend when the wheel load changes).
Cornering Brake Control (CBC) reduces the danger of vehicle instability that can arise when the brakes are applied while taking a bend at speed. Without CBC, the load shift caused by braking can reduce traction on the wheels on the side towards the inside of the bend, thereby applying excessive load to the other side. This load imbalance may result in a loss of directional control, causing the vehicle to skid out of the curve.
CBC counteracts this tendency by asymmetrically distributing brake pressure to the left- and right-side brakes or by reducing pressure (to the rear axle), even if the driver brakes outside the normal range of ABS. The result: a significant improvement in stability and safety when applying light brake pressure, even on bends.

Q.What is Dynamic Break Control System (DBC)?
- When, in an emergency, you apply the brake pedal quickly and with force but without really further increasing brake pressure, Dynamic Brake Control (DBC) instantly builds up maximum brake pressure, bringing your BMW more quickly to a halt.

Q.What is Dynamic Traction Control(DTC)?
  - Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) is a sub-function of the Dynamic Stability Control system that can be turned on and off. DTC has two major roles: to regulate traction and to enable sports-style driving while providing active stability control. When the drive wheels start losing traction the DSC automatically begins stabilisation measures. The Dynamic Stability Control system curbs the engine output and stops slip on the wheels. In exceptional situations, however, a small amount of wheel slip can be an advantage.
Q.What is Electronic Break-Force Distribution System (EBD)?
  - EBD automatically varies the amount of Force applied to each of a vehicle's brakes, based on road conditions, speed, loading, etc. Always coupled with Antilock Breaking System.
